ECIIA is organizing The ESG Day, a hybrid event on the 1st of December 2023, where participants will have the possibility to earn 6 CPEs.

At this event, we will take a look at the emerging new European Regulations regarding ESG requirements “Environment, Social and Governance”. It will include plenary sessions on the new business model, the new risks and opportunities with particular emphasis on the new European Directives and Standards (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).

We will discuss about the role internal auditors must play, the support to the governing bodies, and the collaboration internally and with the external auditors. The new Global Internal Audit Standards will also be presented. The aim is to raise awareness of the new regulatory framework, the new business model and encourage the sharing of best practices.
